Peter Dougherty - CEO & Founder Certeon
Peter Dougherty is President and CEO at Certeon. Before co-founding Certeon, Mr. Dougherty led the product development and marketing of streaming solutions at EMC, following that company's acquisition of Digital Bitcasting. Mr. Dougherty was also the CEO and co-founder of Bitcasting, a pioneering software compression company which expanded into streaming media products. He built his entrepreneurial success on a prior record of achievement and leadership in broadcast management. Jeffery Black - Chief Scientist & Founder Certeon
Jeff Black has over 20 years experience in senior engineering and executive positions in the networking and telecommunications industries. Prior to founding Certeon, Mr. Black co-founded Omnia Communications which developed optical networking equipment for telecommunications carriers. In 1999, Omnia was acquired by Ciena Corporation where Mr.. Black served as VP, Engineering and Network Planning. Prior to founding Omnia, Black was Engineering Vice President at Telco Systems and held senior engineering positions at Cryptall Communications, US Windpower, and Rockwell International. During his career, Mr.. Black has led the development of innovative products in the areas of telemetry systems, encryption, data compression, optical networking, and the Internet. He holds three patents and has a BS degree from the University of Maryland and an MSCS degree from the University of Colorado.

Jack Blaeser - Former CEO Concord Communications
Jack Blaeser is a successful entrepreneur, venture capitalist and proven networking company manager. Blaeser most recently served as chairman, president and CEO of Concord Communications Inc., a global network management company which was sold to Computer Associates in 2005. Prior to joining Concord Communications, Blaeser spent a decade as a venture capitalist at EG&G Venture Management. His leadership and technology experience include positions as executive vice president of Gould Inc. and president and COO of Modicon Corp. Richard A. McGinn - RRE Ventures
Richard A. McGinn, a General Partner of RRE Ventures, brings 30 years of leadership experience in technology and networking. McGinn is the former chairman and chief executive of Lucent Technologies. While at Lucent, he directed engineering, research and technology investments of more than $4 billion annually. McGinn is currently a director of the American Express Company and the Mountain Top Foundation.
Ullas Naik - Managing Director, Globespan Capital Partners
Ullas is a Managing Director with Globespan and works out of the firm's Palo Alto office. He serves on the boards of BladeLogic, Certeon, Copan Systems, GlassHouse Technologies, Millennial Net, Nantero, and Revivio. and was formerly on the board of Pirus Networks (acquired by Sun Microsystems). Ullas is also actively involved with Globespan's investments in Incipient, m-Qube, and Virtusa.
Prior to Globespan, Ullas was a Managing Director in JAFCO Venture's Boston office, where he was responsible for several of the firm's software and infrastructure investments. Prior to JAFCO Ventures, Ullas was a Senior Vice President in the Technology Research Group at FAC-Equities/First Albany. At FAC-Equities, he led the public financings of companies including IDT Corp. (IDTC), Critical Path (CPTH), Forrester Research (FORR), Mainspring (MSPR - acquired by IBM), NaviSite (NAVI), and USWeb (USWB - acquired by MarchFirst). During his tenure at FAC-Equities, Ullas was rated by Fortune magazine as a Wall Street "All Star" and by The Wall Street Journal as one the top technology analysts in the country.
While at FAC-Equities, Ullas was an active angel investor in leading technology companies including Arbinet (ARBX), Critical Path (CPTH), Ecora, InterTrust (ITRU), iRobot and others. He began his career as the founder and operator of a specialty chemicals trading company in India. Ullas received an MBA from Bentley College and a BS in Chemistry from Bombay University.
Jonathan Seelig - Board Observer Globespan Capital Partners
Jonathan is a Managing Director in Globespan's Boston office. He is focusing on communications and Internet infrastructure and will apply his deep entrepreneurial experience in assisting Globespan's portfolio companies.
Jonathan was co-founder of Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the leading, global Internet content and application delivery services company. During his tenure at Akamai, he managed fast growing parts of the business, including global infrastructure development and deployment and international expansion and business development. Prior to founding Akamai, Jonathan worked at ECI Telecom in Israel where his roles included product marketing and new product development and working with customers in 35 countries around the world.
Jonathan is a frequent panelist and keynote speaker at technology and venture capital industry conferences. Immediately prior to joining Globespan, Jonathan was an Executive-in-Residence at Polaris Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital firm with offices in Boston and Seattle.
Jonathan received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Stanford University where he studied Physics. He also attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology prior to founding Akamai.
